Isaiah's 3rd birthday

It seems like there is no way that it could already be February 15! Happy Anniversary to my wonderful aunt and uncle, Ed and Pam! I remember when they were married, and I thought it was so cool that they got married the day after Valentine's Day. I was in fifth grade, when they got married.
Isaiah turned 3 on January 27. THREE!!!! Where did the time go, and where did my teeny tiny little baby go? He is growing so fast, and amazes us everyday. This morning, I dropped him off at daycare and asked him what day it was. His reply? MONDAY MOMMY! What a smartie pants!
We had a very busy January. We had tons of family visit from out of town. Isaiah celebrated his birthday, and then we had him baptized on January 30. He was baptized in the same church and by the same wonderful priest that married Paul and I! That was very special for us.

Project 365!

Happy New Year!!! One of the goals I have for this year is to document our lives in snapshots. So, the plan is to take a picture every single day! Here it goes so far...
This is Paul on New Year's Day. He was in our office on the computer, and we were trying to figure out what to do with Isaiah on Saturday...we were thinking Sea World, and ended up at...
The park! Isaiah loves this park! It is huge, and has SO many things to do! So, this was January 2, 2010! Playing at the park! It was very cold out too! We were in the midst of a FREEEEEEZING week and I am surprised we were not bundled up more!

January 3, 2010...getting ready for bed. I could not get Isaiah to stand still!!! So, the result is a blurry picture! It was freeeezing out still, so he is in footie pajamas! I love them!
January 4, 2010. Isaiah saying hello to daddy after daddy finally returns home from work!!

January 5, 2010...Lexie with a guilty look on her face! After day two of tearing into our trash while we were at work! Of course, I am sure she had an accomplice...named BELLA!!!!

January 6, 2010. My beautiful cat Baby. Is she really giving me the side eye?!
January 7, 2010. I look really impressed. In my defense, it is Thursday evening and I am pooped from the long week. We said a picture a day right?
January 8, 2010. Another project for Isaiah's room. I painted the shelf red and blue to match his room.

January 9, 2010. It was SLEETING at our house. I tried to get a pic, but it is hard to see! BUT IT WAS!!!!!!

January 10, 2010. More projects for Isaiah's room! Finally, got his curtains hung!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I cannot believe that 2009 is gone! Where does the time go? We are truly blessed though, and have had an AMAZING year. We are very lucky to have had two blessed years in a row, as 2008 brought us our wedding! I guess if I look back, 2007 was blessed too! We became foster parents, and our darling son was brought to us for the first time! We also got engaged and embarked on our life together! 2009 began with a bang, and Isaiah's birthday. He is born on January 27, and turned 2 in '09. Then I graduated in March with my Master's degree. The summer brought us our new house, and my new job :-) I am officially a Guidance Counselor, and have had such a great time at the school I am working at. I feel truly blessed to be at this school. It is a public K-8 arts school, and I am the counselor for the Kindergarten thru 5th grade kids. I LOVE IT! The people are great, and I have mad MANY new friends. Let's look back a bit in 2009
