6 Months has gone by FAST!!!!!

Happy six month anniversary to us!! It is hard to believe that six months has gone by since our wedding! We have had such a great six months, and are so blessed to have such a great family and close friends! This year for Easter, we really wanted to make it special for Isaiah. He is now at the age where he understands more of what is going on, and really has developed into such a fun little boy! We have a night of fun in store for him, including visitng the Easter Bunny and coloring Easter eggs. But, we started off the day with a new family tradition. I bought some wooden eggs from Michael's, as well as some pastel paints. I let Isaiah paint them, and on the bottom I put the year. This way, every year he can decorate some eggs, and add to our new egg collection!! We will display them at Easter time.

Graduation!

March 28, 2009. The day finally arrived! I graduated with my Master's Degree in Counseling! YAY! I can now attempt to move on to the next stage of my career. It was bittersweet, as I have come to love school and also the friends I have met along the way. It was a beautiful ceremony, and my mom, Donnie, Paul and Isaiah were all there to celebrate with me and to cheer me on! I love each and everyone of you, and wanted to share the pics with you!!!!! Sorry some of them are blurry...there was so much action! Isaiah was so funny when he saw me walk up on stage to get my diploma and be "hooded." He yelled out, "Mommmmmy!!!!" He also yelled out to me when I was marching out, so i dropped off the line and picked him up! He stared at me like I was crazy with the big cap on my head lol! Of course, when I addressed the audience after receiving my diploma, I cried as I thanked my wonderful HUSBAND (who had run down front to take pics), my family, friends, and of course my dad, who I know was looking over me that day and was smiling and proud. What a great moment!!! We had an awesome day!
